DEAN OF STUDENTS
1. SENIOR STUDENTS COUNSELLOR II, GRADE 11: REF: JKU/ADM/DS/SSCII/09/2019
The candidate must possess:
i. Master’s degree in Counseling or relevant field with five (5) years’ experience in grade
10 or equivalent position
OR
ii. Bachelor’s degree in Counseling with five (5) years’ experience in grade 10 or equivalent
position
OR
iii. Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and a Diploma in Counseling with five (5) years’
experience in grade 10 or equivalent
NB: Those who are registered with a professional counseling body will have an added
advantage
2. SENIOR STUDENTS COUNSELLOR I, GRADE 10: REF: JKU/ADM/DS/SSCI/09/2019
The candidate must possess:
i. Master’s degree in Counseling or relevant field from a recognized institution
OR
ii. Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and a Diploma in Counseling with five (5) years’
experience in grade 9 or equivalent
OR
iii. Bachelor’s degree in counseling with five (5) years’ experience in grade 9 or equivalent
position

iv. A higher National Diploma in Counseling with five (5) years’ experience in grade 9 or
