1. Accounts Intern

General Description:

This is a three months Internship opportunity for fresh graduates or candidates with at most 6 months’ internship experience in accounts and willing to pursue a career in accounting and finance.

Duties and Responsibilities shall include:

  • Posting of daily transactions.
  • Assist in the verification of physical account documents.
  • Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Handling of sensitive and confidential accounts information with honesty and integrity.
  • Assist in all the accounts reconciliations.
  • Perform any other duty assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications.
  • Must possess high integrity standards.
  • Must be detail-oriented and ready to learn.

2. Procurement Internships

General Description; Reporting to the Procurement Officer, the successful candidate will learn and gain practical experience on the job by supporting the procurement team in the delivery of services efficiently and effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities shall include:

  • Assist the procurement officer in reviewing requisition orders to verify accuracy and specifications.
  • Prepare, maintain and review purchasing files, reports and price lists.
  • Calculate costs of orders and forward invoices to the Accounts Department.
  • Issuing and receiving stock.
  • Assist in stock taking, inventory and reconciliation
  • Assist in preparation of purchase orders.
  • Track the status of requisitions, contracts and orders.
  • Perform buying duties whenever necessary.
  • Filing of all the important documents.
  • Perform any other duty assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics & Supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications.
  • Must be of high integrity.

3. Human Resources Intern

General Description: Under the guidance of the Hospital Administrator and the direct supervision of the Human Resources Officer, the successful Intern shall provide support on the broader practices and initiatives of the HR unit.

Duties and Responsibilities shall include:

  • Perform general administrative tasks in HR under the supervision of the Human Resource Officer.
  • Sorting and labeling files in the archives; creating a directory and full inventory of all the files in the archives.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Management of employment contracts as guided by the organization’s policies.
  • Drafting of Memos, letters, and reports.
  • Participate in handling employee grievances and other related matters.
  • Handle inquiries in the HR office promptly and courteously.
  • Participate in disciplinary processes.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Degree/Higher Diploma/Diploma in Human Resource Management.
  • Must be computer proficient.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

4. Administrative Intern

General Description: To provide administrative support to the Hospital Administrators in performing their daily duties.

Duties and Responsibilities shall include:

  • Receiving and reviewing correspondence.
  • Dispatching of correspondence to the relevant offices.
  • Following up on client concerns and feedback; escalating as necessary.
  • Ordering of office supplies & equipment to ensure smooth running of the office.
  • Maintaining the office’s filing and storage systems.
  • Assist the administrator in the execution of hospital programs.

Requirements

  • Degree qualification in Health service/Business management.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Must be of high integrity.

5. Marketing Intern

General Description:

Assist in the management of marketing operations under the supervision of the Marketing & Liaison officer.

Duties and Responsibilities shall include:

  • Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends.
  • Design and present new social media campaign ideas.
  • Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas and feedback.
  • Prepare detailed promotional presentations.
  • Help with the planning and hosting of marketing events.
  • Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns and social media.

Requirements

  • Fresh graduate in the fields of Nursing, Laboratory sciences & marketing.
  • Proficiency in computer packages.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for marketing.

6. Pharmaceutical Technologist Intern

General Description: Attached to the procurement office, the Intern shall assist in the procurement processes of pharmaceutical commodities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities shall be mutually agreed upon and assigned by the supervisor in line with the regulations of the Pharmacy & Poisons Board.

Requirements

  • Fresh graduates with Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
  • Must be proficient in basic computer applications.
  • Must be of high Integrity.

7. Accounts Clerk

Main Purpose:

Reporting to the Accountant, the successful candidate will help the Accounts Department to do the duties of accounting nature with the team in the delivery of services efficiently and effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

  • Ensuring effective administration of petty cash.
  • Proper handling of petty.
  • Petty cash disbursement.
  • Preparation of daily detailed cash analysis.
  • Daily posting of the cash sales in the QuickBooks system. Upon approval of the daily cash analysis by the chief accountant.
  • Posting of petty cash expenses in the QuickBooks system.

Job Requirement

  • Degree/Diploma in Business Management Accounting Option.
  • CPA Holder.
  • Must be of high integrity
  • Comfortable with computer applications
  • Customer friendly.
  • Well versed in Accounting applications e.g. QuickBooks etc.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Transparent and honest
