 Newbridge Connect Africa is a product of Newbridge Connect Limited. The firm was founded in 2010 and has operated independently since 2016. This move was brought about by the growing need for linguistic services in the various markets where the group was already established. Our team has faced an interesting and challenging journey, fueled by the need and desire to build strong company values. We work with care in every aspect of our business, from our relationships with our clients, our suppliers, our partners, each other, and ultimately, we strive to be of service to our motherland. Newbridge’s purpose is to help companies prepare their products and services for worldwide deployment by providing high-quality translation, localization, and multilingual services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write content including social media posts, blog posts, email marketing messages, presentation content and web copy.
  • Create and maintain a content marketing calendar for our social media platforms
  • Work closely with marketing teammates
  • Respond and direct customer responses/inquiries that come through our media assets including – calls, WhatsApp, email, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and website
  • Copywriting consistent with Newbridge’s tone and mission. You write clean, concise, well-polished copy
  • Engage with our audiences during events – live tweeting, live streaming etc.
  • Support the marketing department in daily administrative tasks or any other tasks assigned

Requirements

Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (French is considered an added advantage)
  • A passion for content management and familiarity with content creation within various media platforms including social media
  • A commitment to Newbridge’s values of excellence, innovation and accountability
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience OR current enrolment in a related BS/BA
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications. Previous experience using customer relations will be an added advantage.
  • Possess basic knowledge in Video and Photography
