Descriptions;

Waumini Sacco is a Savings and Credit Co-operative Society registered in 1980 under the Co-operative Societies Act of the Laws of Kenya.

Formulate and implement sound policies, strategies and systems that will ensure effective and efficient execution of recovery functions in the Sacco.
Delinquency management to below the regulatory requirement.
Prepare annual work programs and budgets for loans recovery.
Plan and closely co-ordinate the debt recovery process with various stakeholders, including lawyers, valuers and auctioneers amongst others, to avoid undue delay and recovery costs escalation.
Provide periodic reports to Management and respective Board Committee’s on the Recovery Status of non-performing loan facilities to ensure appropriate measures are taken to rectify any identified gaps in the lending process.
Liaise with the Head of Finance to ensure provisions held against bad & doubtful debts are adequate and in compliance with the required guidelines.
Continuous and timely updating of loan accounts with repayment amounts to ensure loan accounts reflect the right position always.
Recover all matured loans in an efficient manner and continuously monitor loan repayment for timely detection of non-payment.
Meeting set Collections and Recoveries targets.

Business-related degree from a recognized university with CPA(K) ACCA CCP or any other recognized professional course.
Experience of at least 7 years, three (3) of which must be in a supervisory role in recoveries or Credit Supervisor in a Sacco or other Financial institution.
A diploma in Co-operative Management will be an added advantage.
